Cassandra D. "Sandy" Sewell, age 82, of Allentown, passed away on July 17, 2023 in Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. She was the loving wife of the late Murray A. Sewell. Born in York, PA, she was the daughter of George Sr., and Virginia (Gannett) Dellinger.

She graduated from William Penn Senior High School in 1958. She earned her LPN Degree from York Vo Tech and worked at York Memorial Hospital for over 40 years. She was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church in Allentown where she volunteered. She enjoyed knitting scarves for the homeless and crocheting.

Cassandra is survived by son, Michael Sewell and wife Miyoko and daughter, Michelle Burdette; and loving friend, Michelle Miller. She is also survived by grandchildren, Kayleigh Burdette, Marina Sewell, Miku Sewell and Ken Sewell and four great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by companion Joseph A. Orlando.

Services are private at the convenience of the family.
