Carolyn M. Malburg Carolyn M. Malburg, 84, of Upper Milford Twp., passed away August 20, 2008 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Inpatient Hospice Unit. She was the wife of Richard P. Malburg. With fullness of heart, they celebrated 60 years of marriage on August 14, 2008. Born in Zionsville, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ella (Miller) Schreiber. After graduation from Emmaus High School in 1942, she was employed by the wire mill. She received training at IBM in Poughkeepsie, NY on mainframe computers and worked on the computer program at Mack Trucks. She was later employed by the city of Miami, where she set up the IBM system for the city. She moved back to the Lehigh Valley where she became head of the IBM department at Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She worked in the Upper Milford Tax Collector Office for 20 years. She was a member of various local organizations, but extremely proud to be a member of the Daughters of American Colonists. She was a life member of Zions Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville, where she was a member of the choir, taught Sunday School, and was an advisor to Luther League. She was a co-leader for the Brownies. Survivors: Husband; Daughter, Jayne C. wife of Thomas A. Fogle of South Bend, IN; Sister, Barbara M. wife of Aris P. Harris of Allentown; Granddaughter, Kristyn J. Fogle. She was predeceased by a sister, Annabelle M. Korpalski. Services: Funeral Services Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 10:30 AM in Zions Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5901 Kings Highway South, Old Zionsville. Friends may call 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.
