Carol A. Schulter Carol A. (Haberstumpf) Schulter, 63, of Bainbridge, formerly of Emmaus, died January 3, 2010 in her home after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Joseph E. Schulter. They celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary on June 24, 2009. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Albert H. and Ruth E. (Miller) Haberstumpf. She was a 1964 graduate of Emmaus High School, a 1967 graduate of Goldey-Beacom College, and a 1969 graduate of Elizabethtown College. She taught business subjects at Whitehall High School from 1969 to 1972, Lancaster City Adult Education from 1972 to 1973, and Hershey Public High School from 1973 until retiring in 2002 after 33 years of service. She was a member of Lancaster Moravian Church and its Womens Fellowship. She was a Girl Scout Leader of Troop 32 of Emmaus, Hershey High School Girls Field Hockey Coach, Hershey High School FBLA Advisor, member of Lancaster County Homestead Red Hatters Society, and a member of the Lancaster County Corvette Club. Survivors: Husband; Son, Joseph A. Schulter, Special Agent assigned to the US Embassy in Syria with the State Department along with his wife Kelly F. Schulter and their Daughter Evelyn Grace Schulter, her first granddaughter; Daughter, Ruth Lee Schulter of Lancaster; Brother, Edwin John Haberstumpf and wife Lois of Emmaus. Services: Memorial Services Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 at 10:30 AM in Emmaus Moravian Church, Main Street and Keystone Avenue, Emmaus. Friends may call 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the church.
