Carol A. Johnson, 65, of Allentown, died December 18, 2013 in St. Luke's Hospital Allentown. Born in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Rufus and Carmelita (Collier) Johnson. Carol was a social worker and an ally to the mental health community. She was a graduate of Albright University. She worked for the Lehigh Valley Mental Health Department, Turning Point, and Lehigh Valley ACT, retiring in 2012. She was a member of Greater Faith Community Church, Allentown. She was Co-Founder for the Cultural Diversity Community, she also volunteered for many other various organizations. She was a member of the Lehigh Valley Tenant Association and worked at the voting polls. Where ever there was a person in need she was there. Survivors: Daughters, Aileen Quinn of Allentown, Jennifer Quinn-Dotel of Northampton, and Rachel Paoli of Allentown; Grandchildren, Daniel Quinn, Nicholas Quinn, Christopher Feliz, Devin Thomas, Jaron Parker, Jillian Quinn, Nicole Griffiths, Kirsten Pinnock, Aliyah Lucas, and Chyna Matamoros, 2 Great Granddaughters and many loving friends. Services: Funeral Services Monday, Dec. 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing Sunday 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Monday 9:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
