Carol A. (Smurda) Fake, 80, of Upper Milford Twp., passed away August 28, at Mosser Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Gerald S. Fake. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Katie Sophia and Joseph Smurda, Sr. Carol was a graduate of William Allen High School.

Carol is survived by her sons, Todd M. Fake and wife Lisa and Brian K. Fake and wife Holly; grandchildren, Megan wife of James McGee and Michael Fake; great grandson, William Joseph Lutterschmidt. She was predeceased by brothers, Joseph Smurda, Jr. and Ronald N. Smurda.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
