Obituary

Calvin R. "Pop Pop" Troutman, 78, of Emmaus, died Jan. 15, 2021 in Whitehall Manor.  He was the husband of Celeste T. (Guter) Troutman.  Born in Easton, he was the son of the late Calvin A. and Ruth M. (Ziegenfuss) Troutman.  He honorably served his country in the Army during Vietnam.  He was a graduate of Moravian College.  Cal worked in data processing for Xerox, was a project manager for Bethlehem Steel, and retired in 2001 from EDS.  He was a proud Eagle Scout, collected coins, loved to fish, traveled extensively around the world, and loved and cherished his grandchildren.

Calvin is survived by his wife of 28 years, Celeste; daughters, Gretchen wife of Eric Wilmot of Bethlehem and Danielle J. wife of Peter Schurman of Macungie; grandchildren, Hannah, Noah, Rachel, and Madison.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
