C. Clayton Kirschner, Sr., 91, passed away on Sept. 8, 2025 in his daughter's home.  He was the husband of the late Lois E. Kirschner.  Born in Norway, ME, he was the son of the late Louis A.F. and Lelia M. (Russell) Kirschner.  He honorably served his country in the Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.  He worked as an investigator insurance underwriter for Nolan and Thorpe Insurance Company for many years, retiring in 1996.  He was a member of Lehigh Valley Baptist Church, Emmaus.

Clayton is survived by his daughter, Mary-beth wife of Kyle Gery; son, Charles C. Kirschner, Jr. and wife Linda; sister, Peggy Edwards; grandchildren, John and Cassandra, Salli and Adam, Harley and Danielle, Audra and Randy, and Crystal; great grandchildren, Athena, Mariah, Damien, Elizabeth, Aaliyah, and Valerie.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Wed., Sept. 17, 2025 at 2:00 PM in Northwood Cemetery, 1501 Haines St., Philadelphia. Arrangements are entrusted to Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lehigh Valley Baptist Church, 4702 Colebrook Ave., Emmaus, PA 18049.
