Bruce L. Erney Bruce L. Erney, 89, formerly of Macungie, died May 21, 2010 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the widow of the late Pauline T. (Toth) Erney. Born in Macungie, he was the son of the late Edwin and Cora (Reese) Erney. He worked for the former Saucony Shoe Company for many years, retiring as Vice President. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie. He honorably served his country in the Army during WWII in the Philippines, earning 4 medals. He was a past member of the Masons and a life member of the Macungie Fire Co. Survivors: Son, Bruce T. Erney and wife Linda of Cincinnati, OH; Grandchildren, Allison wife of Tom Wade and Lin Erney and wife Andrea; Great Grandchildren, Scarlett Erney, Lochlan Wade, Ryland Wade, and Linwood Erney; Sisters, Helen Schmick of Macungie and Gertrude wife of Clare Moyer of Macungie. Services: Funeral Services Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from at 11:00 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.
