Brian R. McElroy, 61, of Emmaus, died peacefully Sept. 9, 2023 in his home. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Robert M. and Shirley M. (Alloggio) McElroy.  Brian worked as a welder for TJ Cougle Trucking and Werner Trucking.  He was a huge football fan, rooted for the Raiders, and loved dogs.

Brian is survived by his sister, Beverly J. wife of David Soltysiak of Alpena, MI; niece and nephew, Jamie L. and Ryan M. Soltysiak; great nieces and nephews, Amelia, Mylan, Jayce, and Hailey; pet bird, Zazu.

Memorial services will be held on Sat., Sept. 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
