Obituary

Blanche E. Trunk, 87, of Salisbury Twp., passed away Jan. 25, 2022 in St. Luke's Hospice House with her children by her side.  She was the wife of the late Lyle G. Trunk, who died Dec. 27, 2018.  Born in Quakertown, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Naomi (Deetz) Allem.  Blanche was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.  Her strengths and self-sacrifice shined through for everyone to see.    Blanche worked as a supervisor for the former Phoenix Clothes for 15 years and later for Lucent Technologies for 16 years before retiring. After retirement, she cleaned for Stanley Vidmar and was a van driver for Salisbury School District.

Blanche is survived by her sons, Glenn Trunk and wife Carolyn and Timothy Trunk and wife Beverly; daughters, Sharon wife of David Erdman, Deborah wife of Lance Joseph, and Faith wife of Jose Rivera; sisters, Ruth Hevalow and Judith Smith; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a brother, Floyd Allem, Sr. and a sister, Lillian Ramsay.

Memorial services will be held on Wed., Feb. 2, 2022 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Visitation 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
