Blaine B. Kahle, 68, of Emmaus, PA died Oct. 29, 2019 in Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice. He was the husband of Lucy D. (Smith) Kahle. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Bruce L. and Betty J. (Hertzog) Kahle. He worked in maintenance for the Lehigh County Housing Authority for 27 years, retiring in April of 2017. He was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Quakertown.
Blaine is survived by his wife, Lucy; sons, Jason Kahle and wife Rachel of Wallkill, NY, Jacob Kahle and wife Nicoletta of Greenacres, FL, and Joel Kahle and wife Tanya of Alburtis, PA; brother, Brian Kahle and wife Shirley of Fort Worth, TX; sisters all of Tucson, AZ, Nancy wife of Frank Castaneda, Marie Tarkington, and Sheila wife of Jim Diller; uncle, Clement Fenstermaker and his wife, Helen, of Allentown; step children, Theodore Fink and wife Joni of Jersey Shore, PA, Sarah Baroody of Newtown, CT, and Virginia wife of Dave Hemmerle of White Plains, NY; grandchildren, Mercedes Kahle, Hemmerle grandchildren: Sarah, Jean-Pierre, Tessa and Camille; Baroody granddaughters: Ava and Sophia; Breonna Fink, Christina Miller, Alexandria Hensler; great grandchildren, Amelia and Carson Miller and many nieces, nephews and cousins; sisters-in-law, Sarah and husband John Munley of San Antonio, TX, Dody Coman and partner Katy Robbart of N. Conway, NH, brother-in-law Bedford Smith and wife Lyn of Grants Pass, OR. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Linda Kahle.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 11:00 AM in Grace Bible Fellowship Church, 1811 N. Old Bethlehem Pike, Quakertown with family greeting and lunch after the service. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grace Bible Fellowship Church, 1811 N. Old Bethlehem Pike, Quakertown, PA 18951.
