Billie Jean Hayslett Billie Jean Hayslett, 85, of Union Hall, VA, died Nov. 9, 2012 in the home of her son. She was the wife of Herbert Hayslett and the late Dr. Kenneth W. Hampton, Sr. Born in Norton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Johnie A. and Hattie C. (Ross) Sturgill. She worked as an LPN for Southwestern State Hospital, where she retired. Survivors: Husband; Son, Kenneth W. Hampton, Jr. and wife Angel of Macungie; Daughter, Mary wife of Tony Barnett of Richmond, VA; Stepdaughter, Brenda DeHaven; 5 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.
