Betty J. (Reimert) Schantzenbach, 88, of Hamburg Berks Co, formerly of Orefield, passed away on August 21, 2016. She was the loving wife of the late Paul R. Schantzenbach. Betty was born in Macungie on January 12, 1928, the daughter of the late Charles and Carrie (Schlegel) Reimert. Betty was a full time mother. She enjoyed gardening, crafting, and cooking and baking for her family. Some affectionately called her "Betty Crocker". She found great joy in playing board games with her family. She and her husband were former caretakers of Willow Tree Grove in Leather Corner Post, for many years.   Betty was most proud of her service to the Lord as a pastoral assistant as well as her involvement in a clown ministry.

Survivors: Children, Timothy P. Schantzenbach and wife Bonita of Macungie, Brenda K. wife of Jimmie Moreno of Canyon Lake, TX, and Lori J. wife of Randall Mengel of Hamburg; 17 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.

Services: Funeral Services Fri., August 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
