Betty B. Marks, 87, of Emmaus, died Feb. 5, 2024 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Joseph N. Marks, Sr.  Born in Derventa, Yugoslavia, she was the daughter of the late Karl and Katharina (Niklas) Bayer.  Betty worked as a seamstress and later in life as a housekeeper.  She was a member of the Macungie Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.  Betty was known for her generosity to others and her steadfast unwavering faith.

She is survived by her son, Joseph N. Marks, Jr. and wife Tara of Alburtis; daughters, Suzette S. wife of Garry Flores, Sr. of Whitehall, Pamela A. wife of Stephen Mould of Macungie, and Nicole J. Ronco of Dunwoody, GA; 6 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter.  She was predeceased by a son, Michael J. Marks and siblings, Hans Bayer, Franz Bayer, and Elisabeth Friedrich.

Memorial services will be held on Sat., March 2, 2024 at 2:00 PM in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 4571 Indian Creek Rd., Macungie.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
