Bertha L. Snell, 91, of Macungie, died Oct. 27, 2021 in Lehigh Valley Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Frederick R. Snell.  Born in Perry Twp., OH, she was the daughter of the late W. Edward and Cleo (Downing) Fox.  Bertha worked as a waitress for many years at Macungie Fire Company, Brookside Country Club, and The Mercantile Club of Emmaus.  She was a member of Solomon's U.C.C., Macungie and the Macungie Senior Citizens.

Bertha is survived by her son, Frederick Snell of Mertztown; daughters, Becky L. Coyle of Emmaus, Holly L. Gaugler of Zionsville, and Tina B. Helfrich of Macungie; sisters, Nancy Hoffman of Helena, OH and Betty Hoffman of Fremont, OH; 13 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a son, Toby Snell, a brother, Edward I. Fox and sisters, Phyllis Jennings and Wyneta Dauterman.

Funeral services will be held on Wed., Nov. 3, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Memorial Park.
