She graduated from Central Catholic High School. Bernie worked for a number of years in the family business, Dorney Printing and Day-Timers.
She was well known at all of the card shops. When she walked into the shop, she was usually asked, "can I take your coat, Mrs. Dorney?" She enjoyed eating and was never late for dessert. She enjoyed doing puzzles, especially crossword puzzles (they were the start of every day), but her most enjoyable time was spent with family and friends and being a nana.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
Contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made in memory of Bernie to Children's Hospital for Cancer in Philadelphia, PA or a charity of one's choice.
