Benjamin B. Powell, 73, of Macungie, passed away surrounded by his family on March 28, 2024 in Meritus Medical Center, Hagerstown, MD.  He was the husband of the late Carolyn J. (Kelley) Powell.  Born in Winchester, VA, he was the son of the late Bruce A. and Kathleen L. (Shiley) Powell.  He honorably served his country in the Navy during Vietnam.  Ben worked in the IT group for Victaulic of America, Forks Twp. for an extended period of time before retiring.  He was a member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church and its small groups.

Benjamin is survived by his son, Sean L. Powell and wife Terri of Allentown; daughter, Carrie A. wife of Sean Pearson of Valencia; grandchildren, Faith and Hope Pearson and Krystine Powell; sister, Sandra Kay Powell.  He was predeceased by his brother, Ronnie L. Powell.

Funeral services will be held on Fri., April 5, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, 1151 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown, PA 18103.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.  Interment with military honors will follow in Northwood Cemetery.  Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
