Barton H. Decker Barton H. Decker, 79, of Emmaus, died February 8, 2010 in Lehigh Center. He was the husband of Marilyn M. (Marsh) Decker. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary in November 2009. Born in East Texas, he was the son of the late Everett L. and Eva (Butz) Decker. He was a graduate of the Philadelphia Institute of Barbering. He was a self-employed barber at Bartys Barber Shop, Emmaus for 55 years. He was a member of St. Johns U.C.C., Emmaus. He honorably served his country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. Barty was an avid golfer. Survivors: Wife; Sons, James B. Decker, Jack M. Decker and wife Lisa, and Jay R. Decker; Sister, Mae E. Wert; Grandchildren, Amy, Mindy, Ryan, Meghan, Jacqueline, and Marissa. He was predeceased by brothers William and Oliver and sister Carolanne. Services: Memorial Services with military honors Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 11:00 AM in St. Johns U.C.C., 139 North 4th Street, Emmaus. Friends may 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the church.
