Barbara L. Swab, 81, of Allentown, passed away peacefully Nov. 7, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital surrounded by loved ones.  Born in Muir, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harlan and Mae (Jones) Lins.  Barbara was married to Gary E. Swab for 61 wonderful years.  They were blessed with a daughter, Sharon.  Barbara was a graduate of Allentown Nursing School and worked as a registered nurse for many years.  She was an active member of Eastern Star Mary Livingston Chapter 167, past president of Women's Club in Allentown, and a member of Miller Symphony and St. Thomas More Church. She loved cooking and baking, and spending time with her loved ones.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Gary; daughter, Sharon and fiancé Tim Schwalm, 2 grandchildren: Christina Cope, husband Daniel, and Ryan Utsch, wife Alexis; 2 great grandchildren, Harper and Gavin.  She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and sisters, Connie L. Wirt and Sharon M. Stilo.

Memorial services will be held on Fri., Nov. 18, 2022 at 3:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Visitation 1:00 to 3:00 PM in the funeral home.
