Barbara A. Erich, 75, of Macungie, passed away on January 11, 2026 in her home.  She was the wife of the late Blair D. Erich.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late James and Jean (Keinert) Carl.  Barbara started working for Rodale press as a secretary and typist and continued to do freelance dictation work for several other companies.  She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Macungie.  Above all, Barbara loved and cherished spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Pamela wife of Shawn Hoppes; sons, Loren Erich and wife Lisa and Scott Erich and wife Laura; grandchildren, Tiffany, Crystal, Ashley, Nathan, and Chase.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at 2:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Visitation 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the funeral home.  Interment will follow in St. Peter's Union Cemetery, Macungie.
