Arthur H. J. Piatt Arthur H. J. Piatt, 72, of Bath, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ died September 9, 2009 in his home. He was the husband of Linda A. (Ernst) Piatt. They celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary September 30, 2008. Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of the late Anna (Zwiski) and Paul Piatt. He was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School and Moravian College. He was the owner of the former Chateau Piatt Winery, Allentown and a pilot for Bethlehem Steel for 15 years and US Air for 10 years, retiring in 1997. He honorably served his country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was an avid skier, a member of the Ptarmigan Ski Club and an instructor at Camel Back. Survivors: Wife, Daughter, Laura E. wife of Darren Kastner of Braintree, MA; Brother, Raymond Piatt and his wife Lotti of Moore Township; Sister, Pauline Brodhead of Easton; Grandsons, Liam and Finn.
