Anne Dwornak, 86, formerly of Hereford, died September 6, 2016 in Acorn Assisted Living, Princeton, NJ. She was the widow of Joseph Dwornak, a native of Emmaus. Born in Macungie on November 6, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Basil and Mary (Petrisky) Wolanyk. She and her husband, Joseph, spent the majority of their lives in Hereford. Early in her life, she worked for Rodale Press in Emmaus. When her daughters became of school age, Anne worked as the office manager for Drs. William Kistler and Eugene Cleaver and later Priscilla Kistler in the Pennsburg office for many years before retiring in 1995. She was a gentle and kind lady, loved by everyone. She was a very devoted member of St. Peter's Union Church.

Survivors: Daughters, Elaine wife of William Cannon and Alice wife of William Sandifer; Grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, and Stephanie.

Services: Funeral Services Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 at 2:30 PM in St. Peter's Union Church, 7863 St. Peter's Road, Macungie, PA 18062. Viewing 1:30 to 2:30 PM in the church. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Union Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.
