Anne C. Dordal, 61, of Emmaus, died December 1, 2022, surrounded by her family, after suffering from metastatic breast cancer for 51 days.  She was a loving wife to Andrew Dordal for 37 years and mother to Christopher Erl and Nancy Lee.  Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of Maurice Rdesinski and the late Nancy Lee (Reynolds) Rdesinski.  Anne graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA in Geology and earned a master's degree in Education from Temple University.  Adventurous and service-oriented, Anne and Andrew served in the Peace Corps from 1987 to 1989 in Sierra Leone.  Anne was a dedicated teacher throughout the Lehigh Valley, working the last few years as a building sub at Emmaus High School.  She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, Emmaus, and was active in the Angel Network at Emmaus High School and with Lutheran Disaster Response.  Anne loved to travel, especially to the beach or to the woods with her new pop-up trailer.  She keenly understood how precious life is and was a living kidney donor.  She made the world a better, brighter place.

Anne is survived by her husband; son; daughter; father; step-mother, Lucy Lenhardt; sisters, Mary Beth Macnamara, Amy Fruehstorfer, Rebecca Rdesinski, and Joyce Lenhardt; brother, Eric Lenhardt; sisters-in-law, Kristin Poerschke and Lisa Dordal; brother-in-law, Peter Dordal; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, 3461 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Emmaus.  Visitation 9:30 to 11:00 AM in the church.
