Obituary

Annabelle A. Buss, 91, formerly of Emmaus, passed away peacefully Friday, August 19, 2022 in Phoebe Home Allentown. She was the wife of the late Curtis J. Buss. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Mabel (Fegley) Nester. She worked in customer service for Emmaus Telephone Company, Verizon, and Day-Timer's for many years, retiring in 1993. She was a member of Upper Milford Mennonite Church.

Annabelle is survived by her son Brian C. Buss and wife Maria of State College. Daughters Karen M. wife of the late Ed Brown of Chambersburg and Barbara B. wife of Richard DeTemple of Canonsburg. Grandchildren Melanie, Meredith, Eddie, and Andy and great grandson Bennett. Sister Mae Wentz-Nicholas wife of Ken of Emmaus. As well as many nieces and nephews and many long-time friends. She was predeceased by brothers Linwood, Melvin, Wilmer, Norman, E. Vernon, Raymond, Donald and Kermit Nester and sisters Marian Frankenfield, Alma Miller, Merle Lorish and Lorraine Nester.

In lieu of a formal funeral service we have chosen an informal Celebration of Life Memorial Gathering to remember our mother Annabelle Amanda (Nester) Buss on Saturday, September 17, 2022 between the hours of 12:00pm and 2:00pm at Upper Milford Mennonite Church, 6450 Kings Hwy S, Zionsville, PA. Interment of ashes will be private. Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus is handling arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Annabelle's memory to Upper Milford Mennonite Church, P.O. Box 296, Old Zionsville, PA 18068.
