Obituary

Anna K. Stauffer Anna K. (Mickley) Stauffer, having attained the age of 100 last August, died Sat., June 21, 2008 at Arden Courts in Allentown. She was predeceased by her husband, Rholand A. Stauffer, her sister Paulyne (Mickley) Kramer, who also lived to be 100, and a son, Dennis Rodney Stauffer. Born in Perkasie in 1907, she was the daughter of the late Edwin A. and Flora (Rosenberger) Mickley and was a 1927 graduate of Beaver College, now Arcadia University. Anna was much loved by everyone who knew her, including the staff at Arden Courts where she has lived for the last 6 years. She was an inspirational role model for all of her family, friends, and students. Her life was lived with a very strong Christian faith, a cheerful smile, and a commitment to helping others in any way she could, without concern for her own comfort or convenience. She was a member of St. Matthews EC Church, Emmaus for 70 years, where she taught Sunday school and was active in church affairs. She was also a kindergarten and elementary school teacher in Perkasie and Emmaus for many years. Survivors: Sons, C. Robert of Danbury, CT, Ronald B. and wife Helen of Allentown, Rogger K. and wife Patricia of Sellersville, and Ross E. and wife Teresa of Raleigh, NC; 18 Grandchildren; 31 Great Grandchildren. Services: Funeral Services Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 11:00 AM in the Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park, Allentown.
