Obituary

Andrew J. Caverly, 81, of Lower Macungie Township passed away on Friday December 13, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 to 1956. He earned a B.S. in Accounting from Pace University in Lower Manhattan while working full time and raising his family. He worked in accounting for a few construction companies in NYC before moving with his family to Emmaus in 1972 where he worked at Air Engineers, Inc. in Whitehall as VP of Finance and part-owner until his retirement in 1991. He was an avid reader and frequent patron of the Emmaus Library. He enjoyed his lunches/dinners at Armettas in Macungie and breakfast at Superior in Emmaus. He lived life with grace and class and truly saw the best in people and met everyone with a smile. He was a true gentleman. But his greatest love and what brought him the most enjoyment was his family.
