Althea C. Urffer, 91, of Emmaus, died April 14, 2018 in the Phoebe Home, Allentown.  She was the widow of William A. Urffer.  Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Elma (Buchecker) Snyder.  She worked as a cook for the Sothern Lehigh School District, retiring in 1989.  She was a member of Chestnut Hill U.C.C. and the Macungie Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her son, David Urffer and wife Elaine of Emmaus; Daughters, Kathleen wife of Edward Brosky of Allentown and Sallie Urffer of Whitehall; Sister, Mary Shellhammer of Macungie; Grandson, Jon; 3 Great Grandchildren.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Miller and a grandson, Jason.

Funeral Services will be held Tues., April 17, 2018 at 7:00 PM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 6:00 to 7:00 PM in the funeral home.  Interment will be private in Chestnut Hill Cemetery.
