Althea Randall Althea Miller Randall, 94, formerly of Emmaus, died Monday October 29, 2012, in Lehigh Commons, Macungie. She was the wife of Pierce Randall, who died in 2005. Married in 1941, the Randalls celebrated sixty-four years of marriage on January 25, 2005. Born in Macungie, on February 26, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Annie (Race) Miller. She graduated from Emmaus High School in 1936 and attended her fiftieth high school reunion in 1986. She loved dolls and collected them for many years. She and her husband operated a business, Althea's Dolls, selling antique and collectible dolls. In their retirement years, the Randalls traveled up and down the eastern seaboard to attend doll and antique shows. She was a long-time member of the Emmaus Women's Club and was also a Friend of the 1803 House. With her husband (who was Mayor of Emmaus for many years), she was active in the Democratic Party. Survivors: Daughter, Bonnie Randall and her husband Thomas Nutt-Powell of Brookline, Massachusetts; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sandra Anderson.
