Althea L. Neetz Althea L. Neetz, 79, a loving wife, mother, and Nana, of Emmaus, died July 11, 2007 in her residence after a courageous battle. She was the wife of Jerald F. Neetz. They celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary in September 2006. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Ruth Kehm. She worked at the former Schaffers Hosiery Mill and other clothing mills in Allentown. She was a member of Zions Evangelical Lutheran Church, Old Zionsville. Her greatest gift was her ability to give comfort to those that were there to comfort her. Survivors: Husband; Sons, Ricky A. Neetz of Emmaus, Michael A. Neetz and wife Marcella of Emmaus, Roger L Neetz of Alburtis, Jerald F. Neetz of Bethlehem, and Mark Neetz of Fogelsville; Sister, Betty Trapp of Coopersburg; Grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Nicole, Kate, Amber, and Megan; Great Grandson, James. She was predeceased by a son David. Services: Funeral Services Saturday, July 14, 2007 at 9:00 AM in the Horace W. Schantz Funeral Home, Inc., 250 Main St., Emmaus.
