Alice M. Fiest, 85, formerly of Emmaus, died September 7, 2015 at Woodland Terrace at the Oaks. She was the beloved wife of Arthur L. Fiest, to whom she was married to for 64 years. Born in Kempton, she was the daughter of the late Carl L. and May I. (Snyder) Trexler. She was a graduate of Allentown Hospital School of Nursing. Alice worked as a registered nurse in pediatrics for the former Allentown Hospital. She was an expert duplicate bridge player, avid gardener, talented seamstress, and a great cook. She was devoted to helping less fortunate people. Survivors: She is survived by husband; Sons, David L. Fiest of West Chester, Steven H. Fiest of Northampton, Dr. Thomas C. Fiest of Ocean, NJ, and Eric R. Fiest of Raleigh, NC; Sister, Violet Joans of Philadelphia and Betty Mahrer of Seattle, WA; 8 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Services: Graveside Services Saturday, Sept. 12, 2015 at 12 Noon in Western Salisbury Cemetery. Schantz Funeral Home P.C., Emmaus, is handling arrangements.
