Agnes S. Hendricks Agnes S. Hendricks, 95, of Emmaus, died Dec. 10, 2011 in her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Horace B. Hendricks, Jr. They celebrated their 76th wedding anniversary in Nov. 2011. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Valovic) Miklencic. She worked for the former Hutt and Wasserman Hat Factory and later for Saucony Shoe for 15 years, retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. Johns U.C.C., Emmaus. Survivors: Husband; Sons, Horace T. Hendricks of Emmaus and Thomas J. Hendricks and wife Linda of Macungie; Daughter, Bonnie M. Hendricks of Allentown and Mariann A. Yeakel of Emmaus; Sisters, Mary Kirk of Emmaus and Margie Howlett of Absecon, NJ; 7 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren and 3 Great Great Grandchildren. Services: Funeral services Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011 at 10:30AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 9:30 to 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery.
