Agnes Luksys Gackenbach, 95, formerly of Emmaus, died Oct. 14, 2021 in Devon House.  She was the wife of the late John D. "Jack" Gackenbach.  Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late George and Katarina (Skroblus) Luksys.  Agnes worked as a billing specialist for Mack Trucks in the International Headquarters from 1963 until retiring in 1988.  She was a member of the Cathedral Church of the Nativity, Bethlehem and a former member of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, Emmaus, where she sang on the choir.  She was a member of the Emmaus Garden Club and the Republican Club.

Agnes is survived by her daughters, Jayne Gackenbach Snyder of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and Leslie wife of Mason Goodloe of San Jose, CA; grandchildren, Caterina Snyder and Robert Teace Snyder.  She was predeceased by 13 siblings.

Funeral services will be held on Tue., Oct. 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM in Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus.  Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the funeral home.  Interment will be held on Wed., Oct. 20, 2021 at 1:00 PM in Memorial Shrine Park of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Wyoming, PA.
